On Friday my husband and I went to see a play.  We used to like to go see plays.  But it’s one of the things that has fallen by the wayside during my time in graduate school.

There’s been a range of things I’ve had to give up or scale back on during these past few years while I was working on my degree — some of which I wasn’t fully conscious of.  I didn’t realize, for instance, that it had been three years since we went to see a play.

Now that I’m  finishing my degree, this is a good reminder to take a moment to think about what interests I want to add (or add back) into my life.

I’m definitely looking forward to going to plays again.
